What we do
Services
We partner with organisations to make digital products and services accessible, inclusive, and compliant — at every stage of the design and development lifecycle.
Compliance consulting
We help organisations understand their obligations under accessibility legislation and standards, including Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act of 1973, WCAG, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and ETSI EN 301 549.
Our compliance consulting service guides you from initial assessment through to a clear, actionable remediation strategy. We work alongside procurement, legal, and technology teams to ensure digital accessibility is embedded into organisational policy and practice — not treated as a one-off task.
Accessibility testing
We evaluate websites, digital products and services to ensure that it is usable by individuals with disabilities. This includes testing for compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines such as Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act of 1973, WCAG, EAA and ETSI EN 301 549.
We conduct thorough manual and automated accessibility testing to ensure usability and compliance for our clients’ offerings. The results of testing are used to identify and fix accessibility issues. This is extremely important as a WCAG Level AA standard is required for all government bodies and most large-scale organisations.
Training and education
Educating others on the importance of accessibility and how to create accessible websites, products, and services. This includes training employees on accessibility best practices and guidelines and providing education on the legal requirements for accessibility.
The goal of accessibility training and education is to create a culture of accessibility within an organisation.
Website services
Website services play a core role in ensuring digital accessibility by designing, building, and maintaining websites that are accessible to all users. This encompasses various aspects such as information architecture design, which involves organising and structuring content in a way that is intuitive and easy to navigate for all users.
Wire-framing is another key element where the layout and structure of web pages are planned to ensure a seamless user experience, including considerations for accessibility features such as keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility. Content audits are also recommended to assess the accessibility of existing content and identify areas for improvement. By integrating these practices you can create inclusive digital experiences that meet accessibility standards and cater to a diverse range of users.
Neurodivergent considered design
From our research, we are one of very few digital agencies globally that cater to neurodivergent users. This is such an important aspect of inclusive product development and something very close to our hearts as several members of our team are neurodiverse.
We have a unique understanding of the needs and challenges that individuals with neurodivergent conditions such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia may face when interacting with technology and we take this into consideration when providing suggestions for user experience improvements.
Accessible document creation
Accessible document creation is the process of creating documents that are usable by individuals with disabilities. This includes creating documents in accessible formats such as PDF/UA and ensuring that the document’s structure, layout, and formatting are compliant with accessibility standards and guidelines.
Accessible document creation can be applied to a variety of document types, including reports, presentations, and forms.
Research and usability testing
We offer comprehensive research and usability testing services to ensure that digital products and services are inclusive and user-friendly for all. Our research services delve deep into understanding user needs, behaviors, and preferences, guiding the design and development process towards creating accessible solutions.
We conduct thorough usability testing with people with disabilities to evaluate the effectiveness and accessibility of digital interfaces and services.
Inclusive language copywriting
Plain and inclusive language copywriting is a service that helps create clear and easy-to-understand written content. This includes using simple and straightforward language, avoiding jargon and technical terms, and writing in a way that is inclusive and respectful of all audiences.
As an example, 54% of American adults have a literacy below sixth-grade level. Writing simply goes a long way. This service can be applied to a variety of content types, including website copy, brochures, and user manuals.
